• 250g Strawberries, halved
• 25g Sugar
• 1 Tablespoon crème de cassis
• Sparkling wine
Mix the strawberries and sugar together in a bowl and leave to stand at room temperature for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Divide the strawberry mixture between two Champagne flutes, add a spoonful of cassis to each and top up with fizz.
